Mixed Media Canvas Welkom to our Home

Goodmorning everyone!

Yesterday i made a new project that i like to share with you!

So lets get started.

Step 1: I made a collage of self decorated tissue paper.
( If you would like to know how it is also on my blog!)

Book paper, washi tape, some fabric with music notes that I had laying arround and drywall tape. I used Tim Holtz Distress collage medium to secure it al to my canvas.

Step 2: Apply some gesso to tone it down

Step 3: Use modeling paste trough a stencil to ad some texture!

Step 4: Let the fun part begin! Adding color. I used three colors Dylusions ink sprays Campso teal, Crushed grape and Bubblegum pink. I forgot to make a picture of this proces, start with watering your canvas on the parts with modeling paste. Than add ink with the top of the bottle unscrewd not spraying arround the patern of the modeling paste. Keep doing this until you are happy with the result. Next fill in the white spots with some spraying, be careful not to spray too much!

Step 5: I used coordinating colors of Dylusions paint I didn't have Campso teal so I used Polished jade, Bubblegum pink and Crushed grape and 3 different stencils.

Step 6: Stamping some images on the canvas with black archival ink.

Step 7: Adding some interesting details with gold ontop of the modeling paste.

Step 8: I used my silhouette cameo to cut out a stencil for my canvas. If you don't have a silhouette cameo you can buy a stencil or print one out and cut it with a craft knife.
